Depression and bipolar disorder affect over 21 million Americans, accounting for over 50% of the nation’s suicides every year.
DBSA SF is one of the local chapters in the Bay Area offering in-person and online peer support, current and readily understandable information about depression and bipolar disorder, and empowering tools focused on an integrated approach to wellness.
Together, we can make sure no one feels alone.
Each year, DBSA improves the lives of millions of people living with or affected by mood disorder. Thank you for supporting our life-changing work.
DBSA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Facilitators are professionals with lived recovery experience who have been trained and certified to help others move forward in their own recovery.
As the Facilitators themselves have journeyed a similar path, they serve as a beacon of hope and role model as they help others towards their path to wellness.
